Mycelium MTÜ is a community-governed nonprofit registered in Estonia.
Fundraising Goal: $250,000
For too long the matriarchal economy has lived as a distant fantasy, a quiet desire, a private conversation,
a vision board that never became a building plan.
We decided it couldn't wait any longer.
So we stopped talking about it and built the practice space.
Inside, the economic matriarchy is not a concept we discuss but a reality we build together on the ground, in our cities, in relationship with each other, in real time.
Inside Mycelium, women, femmes, and thems are organizing mutual aid networks in their bioregions, coordinating rotating savings circles rooted in the ancestral Susu tradition, exchanging skills and resources through barter exchanges, and building food sovereignty in their communities.
But Mycelium is more than a coordination platform.
It’s a living knowledge ecosystem where everyone's zone of genius contributes to the whole, the full intelligence of a global network of cycle breakers, builders, and knowledge carriers in conversation with each other.
And because we know that building life-centered economies requires more than good intentions and good information, Mycelium holds the relationship and leadership skill building that allows communities to build coherently, sustainably, and without burning out the people doing the building.
The space is held by women, femmes and thems trained in liberation work, decolonial somatic practice, and shadow alchemy.
The economic model is matriarchal: every unit of currency that comes in circulates back to resource the leaders doing the work on the ground and the infrastructure that holds the space.
This is a living system and it needs resourcing to survive and grow.

Mycelium is being built by two feral, sovereign moms who believe this community can’t wait any longer.
In order to build it we’ve diverted significant time and attention from our existing work, which means we’ve been pulling from our savings and going into debt to make this real.
We’re not independently wealthy nor backed by investors. We’re two femmes who saw the gap and decided to fill in ourselves.
We need to be resourced in order to show up fully for what we’re building.
Your contribution doesn’t just fund the infrastructure, it supports the women holding it.
We’ve experienced significant delays in opening the doors to paid members, and membership fees alone won’t cover what it costs to hold this infrastructure well through the first six months.
We are asking the women who believe in this work, who’ve been yearning and praying for something like this to exist, to resource it into reality.

The window to be part of supporting and tending the indigenous matriarchal economy from the ground up is right now.
Every dollar raised goes directly to four areas:
The leaders whose labor holds Mycelium are compensated for that labor. Stewards welcome new leaders and members, tend the relational health of the community, facilitate the repair process when rupture occurs, and hold the space between formal gatherings. Invisible labor is the first thing matriarchal economics makes visible. This is us practicing what we preach.
Mighty Networks, GoHighLevel, and the integrations that make the community function, including website design and the automated email sequences that guide new members through onboarding and into the course content. These are the bones of the digital infrastructure.
Mycelium MTÜ is a registered Estonian nonprofit. The legal review of our Articles of Association, the registered address service, the e-Residency process, and the ongoing compliance costs of operating as a legitimate legal entity in the EU. We built this properly so it can hold what we are putting inside it.
We are actively identifying land opportunities globally: in the Americas, Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond for the purpose of creating in-person indigenous matriarchal communities. This means physical land held in community trust, spaces where the practices being built inside the digital community can be lived in real life. The matriarchal economy needs physical anchors in multiple bioregions. Every contribution that goes toward land removes it from the extractive market and places it in the hands of the community, permanently.
Every amount supports the growth of the mycelial web.
Keeps one day of platform infrastructure running.
Resources half a week of community stewardship.
Covers a week of platform costs and keeps the legal infrastructure intact.
Resources one month of stewardship labor for a leader guiding the hubs.
Covers a full month of platform and tech infrastructure.
Funds a quarter of our legal and registration costs. You are supporting the foundation.
Covers steward compensation for a full month for the entire council. This is the mycelium held because of you.
A land contribution. You are helping secure the physical anchor points of the matriarchal economy on the ground. This is true legacy!
Some of you will want to give more. Thank you so much for supporting this project!
Mycelium is a registered nonprofit association under Estonian law. No money flows up, all of it circulates back into the web.
If you’re joining Mycelium as a paid member, your membership contribution is your support.
This fundraiser is for the people who want to resource the infrastructure without joining as a member right now.
Before you join, be honest with yourself about your level of readiness, as the community will ask you to show up relationally and somatically in your decolonization work.
If you’re not there yet, the most aligned thing you can do right now is resource the infrastructure now and join us when the doors open in they 2027.
We’re asking you to resource something that already exists, something that is already forming underground and already connecting leaders across geographies, already building the architecture of what comes next.
With fierce love and rebellion,
Isha and Magdalene
